Privacy policy

• Purchases. Stripe processes your payment. We never see or store your card number. Stripe sends us your email address and what you bought, and we store them with your access token so we can send and re-send your access link.
• Tool settings. When you use a generator, we record the settings you entered (for example, machine, bed size, or box dimensions) linked to your purchase. We use this to fix problems and improve the tools.
• Free sample and newsletter. If you request the free sample file, we store your email address, laser type, and wattage, send you the file and a related offer, and subscribe you to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter email.
• Pricing calculator. If you ask us to email your price breakdown, we store your email address, send you the breakdown, and subscribe you to our newsletter. The numbers you enter are used only to build that email.
• Image to SVG converter. Your image is traced in your browser and is never uploaded to us. If you ask us to email you the files, we receive the traced shapes (not your image) and your email address, send you the files, and subscribe you to our newsletter.
• Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
• How you found us. See Cookies below.

We set no advertising cookies and use no cross-site trackers. The site uses:

• ab_attr — records how you first arrived (the campaign tag in the link, the referring website, and the first page you landed on). It lasts 30 days. If you buy something, this information is attached to your order so we know which channels work. Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland are asked before this cookie is set.
• ab_consent — remembers your answer to the cookie banner, if you were shown one. It lasts one year.
• Session storage — holds your access token while a generator tab is open, so the tool stays unlocked. It is cleared when you close the tab.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors. To change your cookie choice, clear this site’s cookies in your browser; you will be asked again on your next visit.

We use these service providers. Each handles data only to provide its service:

• Stripe — payments.
• Vercel — website hosting and page-view analytics.
• Supabase — database for orders, access tokens, and sample requests.
• Resend — transactional email, such as access links.
• beehiiv — newsletter delivery.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Some guides link to products on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click one of these links, Amazon’s own privacy notice and cookies apply on their site.

If you bought through our Etsy shop, Etsy’s privacy policy covers that order. We use the email address on the order only to deliver what you bought.

We keep purchase records for as long as you might need your access link and as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete anything we don’t need to keep.

Email info@alignmentbud.com to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK, or California), you may have additional rights, including the right to object to processing or to complain to your local data-protection authority. We respond to requests within 30 days.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
